Great museum, location, lighthouse, beach. It is all good and well worth the drive up to Whitefish Point. Highly recommended. Full review by SteveSly

Questions & answers

Q:
Seeing with your other reviews of the area is there anything that you didn't whine about?
A:
I don’t think you really want an answer
Q:
Is there a restaurant in the museum
A:
No. Paradise has some options - I recommend Brown's Fisheries or the pizza place, but in a small town in the off-tourist season it may be good to plan ahead.
Q:
Is this something that could be done on a rainy day?
A:
yes- series of buildings but you do have to walk between them. Just take an umbrella.
Q:
I’m wondering if this museum is open in the winter? We will be there in December. Thanks!!
A:
According to their website the museum is open from May 1-October 31, so the answer to the question about December is no.
