University of Michigan cannot keep drones out of its airspace, lawsuit claims
ANN ARBOR, MI – The University of Michigan may not be able to prevent drones from operating in its airspace pending a Court of Claims lawsuit. The Michigan Coalition of Drone Operators filed a June 3 complaint against the university contending the airspace rules on the Ann Arbor campus violate state and federal laws, according to court records.
