The remains will be transferred to Israeli forces, who will take them to Israel's forensic medicine institute for identification.
The remains were not yet identified. Before the handover on Tuesday, Israel said the bodies of three other captives were still in the enclave.
At least 24 people were killed and 87 people injured in renewed Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to a statement from the Hamas-run Government Media Office in Gaza.
Israeli forces killed three Palestinians in Gaza near the line demarcating areas of Israeli control, underlining the struggle to broaden a fragile ceasefire deal.
Israel's Supreme Court has again pressed the government to explain why, more than two years into the war, it still bars independent journalists from entering Gaza.

Israel says Gaza hostage coffin received
Israel said on Tuesday it had received the coffin of a hostage held in Gaza, with the remains undergoing forensic examination to determine their identity.
“Gaza’s economy has lost 87 per cent of its value since 2022,” said Mutasim Elagraa, UNCTAD economist and coordinator for Palestine within the agency, per UN News. “GDP per capita has reverted to levels seen 22 years ago. This is the worst economic crisis on record, anywhere in recent decades.”
Israel said the Red Cross had on Tuesday handed over the coffin of a hostage held in Gaza, adding that the remains would soon be taken for forensic identification.
Israeli forces have killed at least four Palestinians and wounded several others across Gaza despite a six-week ceasefire, as a Palestinian armed group announced recovering the body of another captive in the war-torn territory.
