Israeli forces have carried out military strikes in both Gaza and Lebanon this week leaving several people dead despite ceasefires in place.

Israel and the United States have been piling the pressure on Lebanon to disarm the powerful militant group. The Lebanese military issued a plan approved by the government that would disarm Hezbollah. Israel says Hezbollah is trying to rebuild its military capabilities in southern Lebanon, whereas the Lebanese government has denied those claims.

Hezbollah is rebuilding its arsenal in southern Lebanon, violating a fragile ceasefire with Israel as tensions rise along the northern border amid daily IDF strikes.

JERUSALEM: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted on Sunday (Nov 23) that Israel would do "everything necessary" to stop Hezbollah from regrouping in Lebanon and Hamas from doing the same in Gaza.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said on Thursday that his country is ready to negotiate with Israel and will seek US assistance to initiate talks, as Israeli airstrikes intensify against Iran-backed Hezbollah.
