Article content. The body of a 31-year-old Cold Lake man was recovered Friday from a remote lake east of Lac La Biche, days after his boat capsized and he was unable to swim to shore.

Every year, an ice-fishing village pops up on Lesser Slave Lake. On a busy day there can be more than 200 shacks and 1,000 people on the ice.

A body was recovered from Blackett Lake on Aug. 5 after five days of searching. He was identified as the 31-year-old Cold Lake man who had been missing since Monday.
