A “striking” new malware variant has been used by North Korean hacking group Kimsuky to attack at least two South Korean crypto firms.

North Korea’s notorious Kimsuky hacking group, also known as APT43, has been reportedly launching cyberattacks on two South Korean crypto firms using a previously undocumented Golang-based malware named – Durian.

A recent report from cybersecurity firm Kaspersky reveals that North Korean hackers, specifically the Kimsuky group, have been using a new and notable malware variant named "Durian".
