California voters are weighing whether to rewrite the congressional map. These are the latest results from each of California's 58 counties.
California's approval of Proposition 50 sets in motion a redistricting plan that could result in pickups of five seats for Democrats in the Golden State — an effort that may ripple beyond California's borders.
Proposition 50, which is being pushed hard by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), would pause the use of maps drawn by the nonpartisan California Citizens Redistricting Commission until 2031, and allow for new maps to be used that would help secure five additional Democratic seats in Congress. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

“The Unconstitutional Redistricting Vote in California is a GIANT SCAM in that the entire process, in particular the Voting itself, is RIGGED,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “All ‘Mail-In’ Ballots, where the Republicans in that State are ‘Shut Out,’ is under very serious legal and criminal review.
