HP Support Assistant is meant to assist you with driver and software updates. However, at times, it may not work as expected and fails to install important updates.

Disable HP Support Assistant Double-click the HP Support Assistant on your desktop to launch the program, then click "Settings" in the bottom left corner of the window.
