Timing for Dallas-Fort Worth proper is between 10 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday, according to the NWS. Eastern cities such as Athens and Palestine will need to watch for storms between 2 to 7 a.m. Friday. The main threats for Thursday’s severe weather will be large hail, damaging winds and flooding. Possible tornadoes can’t be ruled out.

More than half a million people are still without power five days after severe storms struck North Texas. Line crews from around the country have worked around the clock to get the lights back on for most. Still, more than 30,000 in Dallas County remained without electricity as the temperatures began to climb.
