A Durham man facing a list of serious charges, including a forced sex offense and multiple assaults, made his first appearance in court on Monday.

A Zachary woman is accused of hitting a three-year-old girl and four-year-old girl with a belt during a livestream.

Troopers said Dawn Coleman failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck on Aug. 10. She died at Aultman Hospital on Sept. 4.
