No. 20 Tennessee blows out Florida 31-11
Tennessee and Florida are both out of the College Football Playoff conversation, with the Gators looking to snap a three-game losing streak under interim head coach Billy Gonzales. But the Volunteers have something to prove as they look to snap a 10-game losing streak at The Swamp.
Florida has barely played at home this year. It’s Week 13 and Florida has played four home games. The first two came in Weeks 1 and 2 against Long Island (55-0 win) and USF (18-16 loss), then the next home game was on Oct. 4 versus Texas. Florida won that game as an underdog 29-21, then beat Mississippi State on Oct. 18, 23-21.
As Florida searches for the program's new coach, there are conflicting reports on whether one candidate is still in the mix for the Gators.
The model has Florida State quarterback Tommy Castellanos throwing for more than 250 yards and two touchdowns, while NC State quarterback C.J. Bailey will be held to under 220 yards and two touchdowns. The model projects that these teams combine for 55 points as the Under hits more than 60% of the time.
