The Atlanta Braves re-signed closer Raisel Iglesias to a one-year, $16 million deal on Wednesday, though the Toronto Blue Jays reportedly had interest in adding him to their bullpen. According to Cuban baseball insider Francys Romero, the Blue Jays and Dodgers had interest, but the Blue Jays never made an official offer.
The Toronto Blue Jays could use another big arm in the bullpen and the club reportedly showed interest in the Atlanta Braves star.
