The SportsLine Projection Model has revealed its Florida Gators vs. Tennessee Volunteers picks for Saturday's SEC matchup

The No. 20 Tennessee Volunteers face the Florida Gators on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla.

As Florida searches for the program's new coach, there are conflicting reports on whether one candidate is still in the mix for the Gators.

Florida has barely played at home this year. It’s Week 13 and Florida has played four home games. The first two came in Weeks 1 and 2 against Long Island (55-0 win) and USF (18-16 loss), then the next home game was on Oct. 4 versus Texas. Florida won that game as an underdog 29-21, then beat Mississippi State on Oct. 18, 23-21.

The model has Florida State quarterback Tommy Castellanos throwing for more than 250 yards and two touchdowns, while NC State quarterback C.J. Bailey will be held to under 220 yards and two touchdowns. The model projects that these teams combine for 55 points as the Under hits more than 60% of the time.

Florida football ended a rough week on and off the field with its first loss to rival Tennessee at The Swamp since 2003.
