Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks took a shot at Minnesota Timberwolves forward Julius Randle following the Suns' 114-113 home win on Friday night.

At 2-1 with a plus-53 point differential, they are still in the NBA Cup hunt. But a win would have all but clinched a spot in the quarters.

The Wolves blew an eight point lead with a minute left and it was the leaders of the team that hold responsibility.

Julius Randle had 19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in his 15th career triple-double, and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the winless Brooklyn Nets 125-109 on Monday night.

Minnesota had the game in the bag until two turnovers and a pair of missed free throws killed them in Phoenix.

And since Nov. 1, Randle’s 128.2 offensive rating is tops in the entire NBA. He’s one of four players currently averaging 25-plus points, seven-plus rebounds and six-plus assists, joining Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
