Several fire departments battled a wind-driven fire in a vacant Fort Worth building Sunday morning.

Two children were among seven people killed in North Texas as strong storms ripped through the region Saturday.

Kansas City fire officials said the children, ages 2 to 9, were rescued from a makeshift apartment inside a vacant building.

The Eunice Fire Department called a crop duster the "angel in the sky" as it helped battle the restaurant fire.
