KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russian drones and missiles killed at least 10 civilians in Ukraine in nighttime attacks, local officials said Monday, with seven deaths reported in the capital, Kyiv, where emergency crews raced to find people believed trapped under the rubble of a partially collapsed apartment building.

The heavy attack on the capital came the same day Russia said it would be reaching out to Ukraine to set a date for the next round of peace negotiations.

KYIV (Reuters) -An overnight Russian drone and missile attack in and around Kyiv killed one person, sparked fires in residential areas and damaged an entrance to a metro station that serves as a bomb shelter, Ukrainian authorities said on Monday.
