Aug 16 (Reuters) - Russian forces launched a missile attack on Kyiv early on Sunday, sparking fires in at least two districts of Ukraine's capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. The city's military administration said one person had been injured.

After Russia set parts of Kyiv on fire in missile attacks, Ukraine hit back with one of its largest air attacks of the war.

The country's defence ministry said a Spanish F-18 fighter jet pilot on a NATO air policing mission shot ‌down an unmanned aircraft illegally breaching national airspace.
