The hand-hammered teardrop frame is a timeless shape that gemstone cutters and jewellers have favoured for centuries. Featured throughout my collection, these frames are a dynamic but a light construction that sways a little with each tilt of the head; they present the perfect way to wear gemstones delicately. THE GEMSTONE Peridot is an ancient and rare gem formed from the mineral Olivine and takes its name from the Greek work 'peridona' which means 'to give richness'. Its olive or bottle green colour often has a slight hint of gold and is often referred to as summer green. Peridot is the August Birthstone and also the 16th-anniversary gemstone.
