A 45-year-old pedal cyclist succumbed at the Leonora Cottage Hospital on Tuesday, hours after he was struck down on the Hydronie Public Road, East Bank Essequibo. Dead is Lloyd Garraway, a resident of Parika, East Bank Essequibo. Garraway was allegedly struck down by a speeding motor car, bearing registration number PAD 3432.
