Today, Delcastle honored 9/11 with its first Stair Climb activity. Juniors in U.S. History began with a visit to the Fire Science & Rescue career area, where they learned about the events of September 11, 2001. Fire Science & Rescue students assisted their peers in putting on full bunker gear and a self-contained breathing apparatus. Each student carried the name of a fallen firefighter and then took on the challenge of climbing stairs in full gear, experiencing the physical demands faced by fir
