Dean Cain rails against James Gunn's recent comments about his new 'Superman,' claiming it 'was a mistake' for the filmmaker to link the iconic hero to the immigrant experience.

The former Superman takes issue with the director's comments about the new movie being an immigration allegory: "We know Superman is an immigrant - he's a freaking alien."

Gunn had responded to the post, which issued a call to arms to “stand up and fight for SnyderVerse on July 11” (the release date of Superman). “Gunn fired the first shot and killed the SnyderVerse and here is our chance to take the fight back to him,” the post said.
