Fifa Club World Cup finished off the group stage and the knockout bracket is officially set. The group stage consisted of 32 clubs from around the world competing in eight groups. The top two in each group advanced to the knockout bracket where they were seeded based on whether they finished first or second in their group.

Fluminense's defeat ends South American interest in the Club World Cup, but the Rio de Janeiro-based club ended the tournament as Brazil's most successful side.

Fluminense have been really impressive through this tournament, remaining unbeaten in the group stage and then knocking out Inter Milan and Al Hilal in the knockout rounds.
